December is National cat lover’s month meaning every day is Caturday! It is a chance to celebrate the beauty and sassiness of our feline friends. Did you know that house cats share 95.6% of their genetic makeup with tigers? They also share a lot of the same behaviors such as scent, prey stalking, and pouncing making them one of the most interesting pets to watch.
Spending time and bonding with your cat during this special month is good for maintaining a healthy relationship. Cats are very food motivated which you can use to your advantage for teaching tricks, petting, and most importantly cuddles! Cats have a great time playing games, getting exercise (and mental stimulation), and performing a variety of tricks.
