We Are Dedicated To The Service Of Pets And Their Owners

The Grange Retreat Team aim to be the best kennels and cattery around. The team have regular training both internally and externally to ensure that they reach the highest standards of care. All of our key staff members are at least level 3 qualified in canine and feline behaviour, care and welfare. We also have staff members trained in pet first aid, bereavement and grooming. General Manager - Tracy

I have worked at The Grange Retreat since November 2019 making sure that all of the furry friends that visit are happy, clean and healthy. I have a Level 3 certificate in canine and feline care. I also have certifications in canine first aid, first aid for kittens and cats, and even first aid for humans that may visit our site.

I am generally the first point of contact for any new customers so I would be happy to chat to you over the phone or to show you around our facilities when you visit.

Assistant Manager - Lauren

I have been working at The Grange Retreat since August 2020 and have loved every minute of my job here. I get excited to get out of bed in the mornings and do the job I love with animals that have become part of my extended family.

My favorite place to be is the Grooming Parlour where you can find me bathing, grooming, nail clipping and otherwise pampering our very pampered pooches.

I have level 2 and 3 qualifications in animal management, I am also working towards my grooming qualification.

Leading Kennel & Cattery Assistant - Olivia

I have been working at The Grange Retreat since March 2022.

Outside of work, I have 2 crazy beagles that keep me on my toes! I love caring for each and every animal that stays with us.

I am qualified Level 2 and 3 in Animal Management and also have a Level 2 in Dog Grooming.

Kennel & Cattery Hand - Rebecca

I have always loved all animals since I was little, especially dogs and cats, I have four dogs at home all of different breeds with their own personalities, I also have a rescue cat who is like my little best friend. I absolutely LOVE working at the Grange Retreat, the staff are amazing!

Kennel & Cattery Hand - Emma

I have a BSc Hons degree in Zoology and completed a 1-year Herpetology internship at Chester Zoo. I have worked with a variety of taxa from frogs to hedgehogs, cats, tortoises, birds and now dogs. If I’m not at work you can find me at the gym, a concert or attending to my 3 cats, tortoise, fish and spiders. I love all animals and enjoy playing and spending time with all the cute residents at work.

Kennel & Cattery Hand - Bex

I joined the team at The Grange Retreat in February 2023. Rather than taking the school route, I went straight into work and gained a wealth of experience in various kennels over the years. At home, I have three retired greyhounds, though they’re better at cuddles than keeping me busy! I also play step mum to a cat and another (much smaller) pooch.

Kennel & Cattery Hand - Ella

I have a Level 3 Animal Management Extended Diploma, which I completed at Otley College. My love for animals started when I was very young, and now having lots of my own. It’s my dream to work with animals, which I am fulfilling working here at The Grange Retreat.
