Whether you are going on holiday, moving house, or planning renovations, you may need a kennels and cattery in Essex for your animals to stay. That is where we come in. We provide a high-quality retreat for your animals so they can be in comfort while they’re away from home. Kennels
Our kennel suites are spacious enough to accommodate your pet on their own or with other family members. All suites have electric security shutters, underfloor heating, and covered exercise runs as standard. Cozy bedding and food are also provided as standard, although we are happy to provide your pets with their own food in case of dietary needs.
Cattery
We know that cats love nothing more than being cozy, that is why we have designed our cattery to be a safe yet stimulating area. We have luxury heated pens, with shelving for exercise, scratch posts for play, and a secure outside area for viewing the wildlife attracted by our countryside location.

Can I come and check on my pet to see how they’re getting on at Grange Retreat?
Of course, we generally have an open house policy at the Retreat, although we request that you visit in our open hours as outside of this is a restful time for our residents.
My pet is quite an expensive breed and I always worry whenever they’re away from me. How will I know that they’re safe?
We have CCTV situated around the complex, we have locks on outside run areas and all areas are locked when we are walking dogs. We have also had new fencing installed around reception and our drive to make the facility more secure.
My dog is highly active and needs plenty of room to stretch his legs and exercise. Is this part of the package at Grange Retreat?
Here at the Retreat, we have a total of 8 acres, we walk the dogs around our fields a minimum of 3 times per day, dogs also have 2 15 minute sessions of off-lead paddocking at a minimum.
